You get better as a fisherman by listening to other fishermen who posess the skills that you seek. Without being exposed to new concepts and techniques we can't improve.

That's the reason that THE TROUT GUYS produced THE NAKED TRUTH ABOUT NYMPHS. We understand how difficult it can be to get good fishermen to part with their secrets.

When I was growing up, every month I anxiously awaited the next issue of Field and Stream, in hopes of finding a new article on Fly Fishing. It was almost a second Bible for me at my young age.

On a regular basis I, and other contributing authors (some of whom you'll find on our Guide Services page) will be publishing articles here that describe proven methods that have helped us flourish as guides and fishermen.

We look forward to spinning a yarn or two as well. Mostly, though, we hope to help you with your fishing. After all fishing is a way of life for us - if we can help you derive the same enjoyment that we receive from the sport, all the better.

Look for our first article on indicator nymphing in the next couple weeks.
